Mijas, Spain

The first place we happened upon in Andalucia was the white washed village {Pueblo Blanco} Mijas. Perched high on the cliffs above the sea, this charming town was a maze of moorish streets, orange trees, a bull ring, a patron saint and pretty great views of the costa del sol. Spain reminds me a lot of California actually and I felt right at home. I love the architecture here, the terracotta and tiles everywhere with lovely pops of colour from the potted flowers that line the streets.
