We celebrated a birthday around here over the weekend. This is my little boy and he is so loved! A happy, sweet and funny little fella. Here he has posed for me a few years back when I got my first digital camera. My digital photos are not very saturated I have discovered and they are not heavily retouched or edited. My background is in film photography and I still shoot and process in a natural analogue manner. I really strive to capture my subjects in an honest way. This is my boy and I can attest that his little personality is shining right through in these pics. Makes me so happy to look back at them. Do you like this style? Do you have any birthdays coming up? How about having a traditional portrait taken for a unique family gift and long lasting heirloom. Now taking bookings here in Switzerland. See my contact page for details.

Hey guys. I'm super happy to share with you some pics from a recent photo shoot earlier this summer. These tweens are amazing! Not only are they beautiful but they are sweet, polite, full of spirit, talent and aspirations too. I have photographed them to be included in my new portfolio launch as samples of my work now available here in Switzerland. Teens and tweens are some of my absolute favourite subjects! This is the perfect age to get some portraits taken, it's such an important time. A wonderful age still so full of youth yet growing up so quickly, trying to figure out who they are and where they are going. With a photograph time is captured, stood still and offers an awesome forever memory for family and friends. I'm now taking bookings for Autumn 2016. Get in touch via the contact form on this website or email me directly at tanyamossphoto.gmail.com for a meet up and/or to discuss scheduling, location ideas, clothing and any ideas you might have for your portrait session. Printing services also available, details coming soon!
My little photography business is now open here in Switzerland and I am thrilled to be back doing what I love! I offer a variety of portrait sessions and one of my absolute favourites are shoots for teens and high school students. An awesome and fun way to remember school days or senior year as well as a great gift for the family photo wall. Last week I had the chance to photograph my daughter and a few of her friends for a Spring inspired photo project. Here are a few images from the shoot. What do you think? I will be posting more of my work and details on my business launch as things develop so stay tuned. Thank you for all of your support, thoughts, critiques and comments, I really appreciate it. Peace, love and smiles! -tm
Here in Switzerland this week it feels like winter has come back. It is the end of April alright and just when we were getting happy about the arrival of Spring, the temperature suddenly out of nowhere dropped and made a cold sharp turn with some snow even. That's crazy! So as I sit here shivering and feeling sorry for all the flowers in the back garden, I thought I'd post some snowy pictures I took a while back with my eldest kids. I'm also thinking wow how much they have grown up! It kind of gets trickier to photograph the older kids. It's just that they are so busy and never really in the mood to pose or go off on photo shoots with dear old mom. However, they are always my first go to models and my absolute favourites to photograph. I have photographed all my children from the very beginning from when they were little and I hope they will love having those pictures to look back on as much as I have loved taking them and documenting our family. Time really is fleeting, photography for me is one way to appreciate that and to keep little pieces of it around always. I make photo albums and journals as much as I can, I think it's an important task to keep your photographs organised. I am far behind on those projects myself but they are really awesome to make when you get the chance. Do you make photo albums or keep framed prints?
